EPA Launches Grants for Residential Solar Panels

Administrator Regan announces funding as part of the “Solar for All” program.

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recently launched the “Solar for All” grant program, which will distribute $7 billion in competitive grants to expand the use of solar panels in low-income communities. The program and the program’s funding were designated through the Inflation Reduction Act and will be used to guarantee a minimum of 20% savings on electricity bills for eligible households.

EPA Administrator Michael Regan made the announcement during a tour of a residential solar project in Vermont. “This historic boost in solar investments will advance millions of residential solar projects nationwide, protect people and the planet, and deliver environmental justice,” Administrator Regan said.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Administrator Regan as he heads the Environmental Protection Agency.
  • For EPA officials as they promote the implementation of residential solar panels.
  • For U.S. energy advisors as they provide recommendations to the president and his administration.
